Aisha Hinds is an American actor best known for playing roles in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her range of talents by appearing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Anna's performance in Assault on Precinct 13 was her debut big break. Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the woman's rights activists Fannie Lou Hammer was a major draw for be noticed by the public. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground was also highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will continue for an additional season. The show was renewed for a third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind finished filming on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters due to release the middle of 2019. She was born in Mangalore, in India. The father Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist and died on March 18, 2017. Mother Vrinda works at home. There is an older brother Aditya Rai who is an engineer in the merchant navy. The younger brother of Bachchan, Aditya Rai, co-produced Dil Ka Rishta and wrote it with Bachchan. Bachchan brought both her star-power and beauty to her most acclaimed English film. Bachchan returned to Bollywood to make the cult Dhoom: 2 (2006) prior to releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. In April 2007, she was married to Abhishek Bachchan who is a frequent co-star and the daughter of Bollywood legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage which brought together two of the most powerful Indian personalities.
