Emma Stone

Emily Jean "Emma" Stone was born on the 6th of November, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone (nee Yeager), an experienced homemaker and Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone, a contracting company founder and CEO. She is of Swedish, German and British Isles descent. Stone began acting as a child at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. There she performed her first stage production in "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame. She was in a variety of productions in her early teens. At the age of 15, she made the choice to make acting her career. According to the official report she was the one who presented her PowerPoint slide show that was supported by Madonna's Hollywood and dubbed "Project Hollywood" in an attempt to convince her parents and allow her to quit school and move to Los Angeles. The mother and daughter made the pitch and moved to LA. Her schooling was completed at home and she spent the time auditioning. Her TV debut came when she was cast as Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). The show led to several small TV roles over the years. After a string of successful performances she was then able to take on the role of Jules in Superbad (2007). Her fame was as Olive was a highlight of her role in Easy A (2010) followed by a string more roles. In Phoenix, Arizona, she went to Xavier College Preparatory. Although she's known as a redhead, her natural hair shade is blonde. It was Judd Apatow who suggested she change her hair color to Superbad (2007) and she loved it so much that she chose to keep it. When she was 15 she persuaded her parents that she could go to Hollywood. She made this happen by creating a PowerPoint presentation entitled Project Hollywood. At 11 years old, she began acting at the Valley Youth Theatre, Phoenix, AZ. There, she appeared in 16 stage productions as well as in the comedy Improv troupe. Caylee Cowan was also an actor at Valley Youth Theatre.
